Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Allmyfellows LLC (BillTinder) collects and how it's used.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address and display name.
- Bill info: the title, category, amount, due date, lender name, description and redacted image you submit.
- Reports: the reason someone gives when reporting a bill (no account needed).
- Basic technical data needed to run the site, such as login sessions.
We do not collect your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles card data under its own privacy policy.
Identity verification, pay stubs and fees
If you post a bill, Stripe Identity (operated by Stripe, Inc.) processes your photo ID, selfie and ID number (such as your SSN) under Stripe's own privacy policy. BillTinder does not receive or store your ID images, selfie, SSN, ID number or date of birth. We keep your verification status, when you were verified, whether you are 18 or older, your verified first and last name, and a one-way fingerprint described below. Your date of birth is used only to compute that fingerprint and is not stored.
If you receive payments, Stripe Connect (Stripe, Inc.) collects your payout and tax details under Stripe's privacy policy; BillTinder stores only your Stripe account ID and whether payouts are enabled. Proof-of-payment files you upload for a funded bill are stored privately and are visible only to you and BillTinder admins. For payments you make, we store the amount, the bill it went to and Stripe's payment reference.
Pay stubs you upload are stored in private storage that only BillTinder administrators can access, and are used only to review bill posters. They are never shown publicly.
Payments are made through Stripe Checkout. We never see your full card number; we keep only Stripe IDs, amounts and times for each payment. When you verify your identity, we store the first and last name Stripe verified, so we can check it against the name on your bills, plus a one-way fingerprint of your verified name and date of birth to detect duplicate accounts.
Your public profile
If you add a profile photo or an About me, they are shown publicly on your bills along with your first name, last initial and whether you passed ID verification. Profile photos are stored in a public storage folder that only you can write to. We remove links and HTML from About me, and BillTinder admins may hide or remove a photo or About me that breaks the Terms. You can change or remove both any time from your dashboard. Your email, full last name, ID details and uploaded documents are never shown.
How we use it
To run your account, review and display bills, prevent fraud, and contact you about your account or bills.
What's public
Bills you publish are public right away: their title, category, amounts, due date, lender name, description and redacted proof images. Your email is never shown publicly. Your profile photo, first name, last initial and About me are shown with your bills.
Where it's stored
Account and bill data, including images, are stored with our provider Supabase. Images are kept private and are shown through short-lived links while a bill is published.
We don't sell your data
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that run the site (such as Supabase, Netlify and Stripe) or when required by law.
Your choices
You can delete pending bills from your dashboard. To delete your account and data, or to ask what we hold about you, email support@billtinder.com. We may keep limited records where the law requires.
Children
BillTinder is not for anyone under 18.
Changes
We'll update the date above if this policy changes.
